Palin attacks media over 'very scary' reporting

With over 47 million Americans voting for her, indicates to me, America has a very very long way to go, as they IDENTIFY with this piece of ilk!

The GOP is an interesting beast.  On the one hand, they use the media to question Kerry's military credentials when the sitting president went AWOL.  But then whine when the other side uses the media in a manner that is right out of the Republican Party playbook of scorched earth politics.

The love to be perceived as persecuted.  The love to use the language of victimhood... just as long as its them and not actual victims.

They love to talk about personal responsibility, but I have yet to meet a Republican who doesn't blame the government for all their problems. 

Dont even get me started on the Democratic Party... but funny as it may seem... they seem to have learned how to let it roll off their backs.  Probably all those years of losing hardened them.

Why agree that Sarah does not have much experience - she has loads more experience thand Obama - she actually ran against people not just being led into empty Senate seats as Barry was.  And he never did anything.

One reason clueless liberals hate her is that she has vast more experience than this neophyte who is scared to death about now having to do something.  and as for answering questions in interview - Barry has done nothing except give his stump speech - in fact his "uh, uh, uh's rival what her names' "you knows".

I know the dissenters here are paid Obama people to keep the over the top hysteria of Palin at a high level to defeat her before she runs. And if you are not - you people should go back to the 6th grade.

The media is worthless?  Come on now, that's just hate talk....  There is NO media anymore,  IT and money from other countries put the golden one in office.  Time will fix this problem regardless of our "media".  Although some situations, like appointing judges, are unfortunate, everything else will come out in the end.  After all, there are no more Republicans to blame here, and that leaves the countries professional whiners to deal with each other.  In 4 years not even the press will be able to put a shine on any of this, and like it or not, the likes of Sarah Palin will be successfully running for the office of The President of the United States, and winning.  The press won't be able to make any of this look like "Change We Can Believe in.  It will instead be viewed as, are you ready for this?  4 years of "failed" policies by Obama and his cronies in the house and senate.  Ouch!!!  We'll see how he brings the country together, what a joke you people are...

I'll give you the Nth reason why Palin was not a good vice-presidential candidate: with Siegler's interview, she has just proven that she has no DIGNITY, and she doesn't have a clue of what the consequences to her actions or words will be... let's just call it IGNORANCE. Mrs. Palin, don't you see that all you did here was look terribly sore and nothing else? I guess the problem starts when she, herself, believed that she would make a good vice-president.

And another thing that bothered me tremendously: what kind of mother has a fifth child who's born with Down Syndrome... and decides that the best thing for him is that mommy spend one or two hours a day with him, at the most? I cannot believe that she considers maternity and a high profile job in politics compatible. My child does not have Down Syndrome, and I think no one will take better care of her than me, so I figure other ways of making ends meet... because guess what, Mrs. Ultraconservative Palin, my children are my first priority, over job recognition, money, intellectual pursuits, etc... when they don't need me, I will do tons of things that I believe I shouldn't be doing now instead of being with them. Now, am I being classist, sexist, or both? ;-)

Why is everyone listening to "talk radio"? 

Reading this article... it was another of example where the "media", is not reporting the news, but injecting their own beliefs.

Has anyone ever seen Sarah Palin and George W. Bush in the same place at the same time?  I'm asking because when you listen to Sarah Palin, who blames everyone else in the world for every mistake she makes, can't open her mouth without flubbing her lines and spends money like a drunken sailor on leave, you begin to wonder if perhaps Palin isn't actually Dubya in drag!

Palin never said she could see Russia from her house. That was Tina Fey. Palin said that you could see Russia from parts of Alaskan land.

This is a non-story.  There are WAY more important stories to hear and respond.  But, I have to respond to this because it is completely ridiculous!  Grandma Palin should just be happy to have fully achieved the Peter Principle.  She is lucky and she is pretty, that's it!  She is not well educated, she is not an expert on the constitution, she is not someone whom I would ever vote because she is not intelligent.  She has a lot of nerve to say she was mistreated.  I would not call national attention and a $150K wardrobe mistreatment.  What if Barack Obama had paraded his unmarried, 5-month pregnant daughter across the national stage, what would peple have said about that?  There certainly is hyprocrisy, but it is on the side of the Palin-McCain ticket.  Nice try though to push eroneous agendas infront of the country when we have REAL issues and problems to deal with.  I will not read or listen to another story about her.  She is just STUPID!

I find it sad that she actualy blames the media for her troubles.  She stepped into the limelight and had to take all the punches that she would get.  Ofcourse media is biased and you have to get over that and present yourself in the best possible way.  But I dont think this came into her mind.  Blaming the media for her mistake is ludicrouse.  Palin needs to look at herself before judging others.  As for Caroline Kennedy, thats like comparing apples to oranges.  Not saiyng I like the idea of Kennedy getting that senate seat either but the woman has a sense about her that if given the chance, she could shine.  It's not just the kennedy name, this woman could go a long way if she does it right.  Or she could just stink at it.  Either way Palin sounds like she's whining and should examine herself first. Oh and why the heck are you going to whine about Tina Fey, she realy should have not done that SNL skit if she was so against the shows portrayal of her.  Ignorance about the shows content is no excuse.

Maybe you should , in four years, when you  "surprise"  the American people with your decision to run for president, be sure to look down at the wound in your foot that you received from shooting yourself.   And then show the world the wound in your other foot that you got , in your imagination, from being crucified by the American people who saw through the stupidity of the Republican Party for ever considering you to be a viable source of intelligence to be in the position of leading our beloved country.

That is the reality you should see, and embrace, rather than crying tears of woulda, coulda and shoulda.

I never could figure out why Katie  Courcic was considered such a god.  I felt sorry for her but just didn't see that she was any better than the other gals.   Then along came the Palin interview.   I admire Palin greatly for not just getting up and slapping Katie right across the kisser.   I refuse to watch Katie since that interview.   She was rude.  Katie's job is to be an unbiased reporter as is the rest of media.   Instead, Katie along with others were on the "attack" to get their liberal welfare loving man elected.  Just how much did he have to pay you, Katie, to be so rude to a woman who is a REAL lady and probably 100 times smarter than you and 100 times more capable of being a leader -- just remember Katie, those you step on on your way up the ladder are the same ones you'll meet on your way down!.........................and it was definitely a "class" issue.   To the high and mighty Easterners and to the welfare lines, Palin was a threat.   Palin was a breathe of fresh air and honesty to a very stale, dishonest Washington group.    She would have been a great asset in the White House and maybe helped clean up the trash that goes on there every day that the media likes to call politics.

Yes, there is a "class issue" when it comes to Kennedy as Palin states.  Kennedy has class and Palin needs to get some class.  She was running for VP of the United States, if she couldn't take the heat, then she should have declined the offer to run.  Talk about a sore loser, she just needs to go back and run her state and the media need to realize she is done....put a fork in this story.

Just an example of what goes around, comes around.  She and the Republicans used the rumor mill to great advantage in the campaign.  However, more of the voters were able to look beyond the rumors and choose the best candidate for the change we need in the US.  Now she is complaining about the rumors that are going around about her and her family-- to paraphrase the Bible, "those who live by the rumor mill will die by the rumor-mill."  Kind of fitting in a way.

I don't think Palin is blaming the media for "her troubles" as some on here say. She is just pointing out the outrages and unprofessional way she and her family were treated by the press.

Palin is simply dumb, she thinks that as a breader she is qualified as president. Running with her kids around the campain trail and her dumb son in law with both hands in his pants on the convention floor as well as her in-laws drug dealers.

The Alaska governor also took a swipe at Katie Couric over the CBS interview in which Palin stumbled badly, saying: "Katie, you're not the center of everyone's universe."

 Someone needs to inform SP and the media that she isn't the center of everyone's universe either.

 This country needs an intelligent person behind the wheel not a pretty profile.  SP doesn't understand that and never will.

Palin just needs to get over herself.  If she wasn't such a liar, to the point of actually believing her lies, then she wouldn't have to worry about the media coverage of her lies.  She made a damn fool out of herself in several interviews, and needs to just reflect on it, learn from it, and quit trying to put a twist on things in order to justify her arrogance.

What has Palin lied about?

By immigrants do you mean legal or illegal?  Legal immigrants that come here have to have a job waiting for them. Legal immigrants are checked for diseases, illegal immigrants are not. Legal immigrants pay all the taxes required by the law while illegal immigrants work mostly under the table. When we get flooded by illegal immigrants we get flooded by diseases like leprosy which has gone up in our country with the advent of illegals who go unchecked health wise. This is why we have legal immigration to avoid such pitfalls.

 as far as jobs are concerned if I as a small business use to employ 6 people on a half a million and I am now hit with a ceiling of a quarter of a million heads will roll until I can live on a quarter of a million, as far as your beloved illegals are concerned more people will be doing their  own lawn work when they have less to spend or no jobs to go to. 20th and 21st century media is addicted to endlessly obsessing in perpituity over self-fulfilling questions which are by their very nature designed to divide because this is what sells.

Caroline Kennedy is the only surviving child of a very politically popular President who was stolen from America in 1963. Some would argue that her father's assassination signaled the beginning of the decline of a more democratic America. Where is America currently and how did it arrive here? My view is that America has been in the hands of the money and its false phrophesies have been presented by media about what America can and cannot afford ever since that fateful day. This type of analysis in and of itself entitles Ms. Kennedy to be appointed to any position she would desire including a U.S. Senate seat, subject to re-election by the voters of New York as required.
