Pike's Letter to Mazzini

It is a commonly believed fallacy that for a short time, the Pike letter to Mazzini was on display in the British Museum Library in London, and it was copied by William Guy Carr, former Intelligence Officer in the Royal Canadian Navy.  The British Library has confirmed in writing to me that such a document has never been in their possession.  Furthermore, in Carr's book, Satan, Prince of this World, Carr includes the following footnote:

"The Keeper of Manuscripts recently informed the author that this letter is NOT catalogued in the British Museum Library.  It seems strange that a man of Cardinal Rodriguez's knowledge should have said that it WAS in 1925".

It appears that Carr learned about this letter from Cardinal Caro y Rodriguez of Santiago, Chile, who wrote The Mystery of Freemasonry Unveiled. 

To date, no conclusive proof exists to show that this letter was ever written.  Nevertheless, the letter is widely quoted and the topic of much discussion.

Following are apparently extracts of the letter, showing how Three World Wars have been planned for many generations.

There are plenty of good people in Israel but the evil are in charge much like in Hitlers time. It's our moral duty to back away from evil perpetrator. Israel needs friends who have the courage to set her straight or she will implode. All bullies meet their match.

When they left Gaza, they left it ready for the Palestinians to move right in. That included new flower shops, business and home. But what did the Palestinians do,  they destroyed every building. Why... because they were built buy Jews. Yes Jews.

History will show that the Islam religion is way worse than Hitler ever was. As of today approximately 400 Palestine's have been killed. Not because of Israel, because of the cowardly way Ha mas fights. They use human bodies as there shields. Today over 5 million people have been slaughter in Africa. Why don't we see the media going crazy over this.

It's time people wake up to the real threat of the muslum religion. If you don't, one day you will wish you had.

Shawn -- you are clueless!  The Israelis are a people who have had everything taken from them at one time or another.  They are only trying to stay alive and keep the land they had several thousand years ago that was taken away by the Palestinians.  There are more islamic countries than Jewish, so leave the Jews alone and let the Palestinians go to another country that believes and lives as they do.  Israel is only trying to defend themselves against people whose only goal in life is to eliminate them completely!

Thanks Road less travelled for some sanity in the discussion.  Florida and Steve have forgotten that the number of arabs who have been killed by Israeli military and imprisoned is thousands more than Israeli losses. 

Just because Israel has bigger guns and a blank check from AIPAC and our government - they think they can always demonize the arabs as wild killers and aggressors.   If they were the ones throwing rocks instead, they might have to reconsider.

Really unbelievable.  I do not understand how a conflict between Israel and Muslims can ever be resolved when people can't even have discussions on the matter without resulting to bashing the other side.

As of this writing, Israel's Gaza campaign continues.  Israel is now in control of most of Gaza's open spaces, and the Israeli government is currently debating whether or not to send troops into the heart of Gaza City.  Many of Israel's leaders believe that an urban operation is necessary to achieve Israel's only declared goal: to end Hamas rocket fire into Israel. 
 
Israel would not undertake such an operation lightly.  Fighting in this densely populated city would no doubt result in more Israeli casualties.  And, despite Israel's best efforts, an urban operation would also result in more Palestinian civilian casualties. 
 
The Israeli government has released a great deal of information demonstrating the lengths to which it has gone to minimize civilian casualties.  Yet the most powerful testimony in support of Israel's humanitarian efforts comes from Hamas itself.  It is becoming increasingly apparent that Hamas has built its military strategy around Israel's desire to avoid harming civilians.  Hamas fighters have become virtuosos of the "human shield."  
 
One popular Hamas tactic, for example, is to ask civilians to stand on the roofs of targeted buildings so that Israeli pilots will not bomb them.   The New York Times reported over the weekend that Israel has now found a way around this barrier.  Israeli planes have started dropping fake missiles which do not explode onto the roofs of such buildings.  Once the decoys have scared the human shields away, Israel drops real bombs in a second wave.

Seeking to take advantage of the protection offered civilians, Hamas militants are now fighting in civilian clothes.  Even the police have been ordered to take off their uniforms.  And Hamas' leaders have found their own very powerful human shields.  Israeli intelligence believes that the Hamas leadership is living in a bunker under Gaza's largest hospital.  These officials assume that they are safe there, since Israel would never dare bomb a hospital.  They are probably right. 
 
According to the Israeli military, Hamas rockets and weapons caches have been discovered in mosques, schools and civilian homes.   As a result, Israel has actually bombed a number of mosques during the current operation.  International human rights workers would normally be quick to condemn such attacks on religious institutions.  But these officials are withholding their criticism of Israel in light of the evidence that Hamas is in fact hiding arms and missiles in their places of worship.    
 
Meanwhile, Hamas does not seem to be the only party willing to hide behind civilians.  The Jerusalem Post is reporting today that Iran has sent high level emissaries to Damascus to persuade Hamas leaders to reject any cease fire with Israel.  According to an Egyptian government official, Iran believes it is benefiting from the conflict and wants to see it continue.  The Egyptian official noted that, "The leaders in Teheran don't care about the innocent civilians who are being killed in the Gaza Strip."  
 
Yet don't expect to see street demonstrations protesting Iran.  And don't expect much public outrage over Hamas.  Israel will continue to be blamed for all of the bloodshed that results from a conflict it tried so hard to avoid for so long.  Standing with Israel in the coming weeks will be more important than ever.  And this is what we will continue to do.

Israel can't lash out against Palestine for continuously bombing Israel because in doing so innocent Palestine people will die.  So Israel needs to know exactly every person that launched the rockets and then go after them and only them.  Now going into Palestine is also unacceptable as nobody from Israel has any right to go there.  So Israel can round up these guilty people when and if they ever go into Israel.

Of course women and children of Palestine should not be killed, but neither should women and children in Israel.  Palestine voted Hamas into power - they knew what their beliefs were so why did they get voted in.  Hamas has put every single citizen of Palestine in harms way.  That is not the fault of Israel.  Now Israel needs to eliminate the ability of Hamas to send more rockets.  Unfortunately, that means that citizens are going to die.  To expect Israel so simply accept the rockets on their people and do nothing is something that not one country would be expected to do.

But, if Hammas wouldn't hide in schools, hospitals and mosques, it would probably be substantially less. Also, right now there is a news blackout from Israel. The meaning of Islam is actually "submission."  As in submission to a wrathful God, submission to theocratic authority, submission of woman to man, submission to the most intolerant religion currently on the planet.

To quibble about the number of civilians killed by each side is disingenuous.  Hamas has killed so few Israeli citizens through lack of firepower, not through lack of desire.  Hamas is dedicated to the total destruction of Israel (as are Islamic militants everywhere).  If they had the wherewithal, they would think nothing of slaughtering every Jew in Israel to achieve that goal; in other words, genocide.  Israel, on the other hand, has the firepower to literally annihilate Gaza and its people, yet it has declined to do so.  Israel is attempting to focus on its mortal enemy, Hamas.  Hamas, being a militarily weak terrorist movement, in turn tries to maximize Palestinian civilian casualties for propaganda purposes and to protect their own "forces."

Sad thing is, if Israel stops, hamas begins again. And trust me, then the media would have a field day about how Israel let their people down again by pulling out too early.

Mu'min...So your saying that Israel should just sit on it's hands and let Hamas throw rockets at it everyday? I guess a few rockets everyday isn't that bad and you would just sit there day after day as the rockets kept coming. What I would suggested to solve this mess is simple. Arm every adult Israeli with the same rockets. Whenever they felt like it they could just fire rockets in to Gaza. What's good for the goose. Then if any rockets kill anybody then Hamas should just shrug their shoulders and act like that's life right. Because we both know if that would happen then Hamas would just go nuts. But what gets me is how come they claim that they have shortages of food, water and medical supplies for their people. However they seem to always have plenty of rockets and Israel keeps finding stockpiles of weapons. I think their thinking is a bit messed up for a religion won't you think for such a poor people. Oooo but wait they are a peaceful religion right? BS they aren't the victim but the aggressors and they have everything that they receiving right now. They are the ones hiding between women and children.

The plan is simple quit the rockets and quit rearming again very simple but Hamas would rather see their own women and children killed. Hell if my family lived there I know I would have found one of the hundreds of tunnels to get them out now. But they would rather use the tunnels for bringing more weapons and to hell with the basics. Again pretty stupid thinking. O what do they use their mosque for....hiding weapons...yup that's a very peaceful religion alright. What do they teach at the mosque's? Well, I was not defending hamas, I was defending the palestinian innocent people that were diing every day, and if it makes you sleep better at night, how long has israel been trying to take out hamas....chew on that before you sleep.

GUIBS.....Israel has already given them the West Bank and Gaza but Iran back Hamas still wants to reward Israel for doing this with more violence.  What should Israel do next to be rewarded with more violence? Hamas wants nothing more then to kill every Israeli it can...period. Hamas does want anything to do with peace because all they know is war and blood. Yup giving them more is going to make them a peaceful group....yeah right. See my idea at #22.3....Israel should just withdraw and give every adult Israeli a rocket. If they happen to fire it off then give them another and if one of their rockets kill then they should do what Hamas does. Terrorism is not created in a vacuum.  Like everything in this world, there is a cause and effect.  Terrorism is the effect of poverty, injustice and disenfrachisement.

I do not agree at all with Hamas's actions but at the same time, I do not agree that dropping bombs an densely populated residental areas is any better.

I too shared your narrow worldview that every problem in this world can be solved by the barrel of a gun - until I visited a refugee camp in Gaza.  I quickly relized that these people, despite being poorer then you can ever imagine, are a very proud people.  They want the same things as you, me, and most Israelis; to be able to provide the best for their families and live a long, peaceful life.  However, when they look around for the means to achieve this, all they see is Hamas.  Hamas gives their children education.  Hamas helps provide basic utilities.  All they see is Hamas fighting for their basic human rights.  This is the problem.

You can try to convince yourself of this all day long, but hundreds of dead Palestinian women and children will not bring any aspect of "peace and stability" to this region.  The fact is, you can not kill them all.  You can destroy Hamas, but you have not destroyed the issues that allow a group like Hamas to existed. Another will soon take its place.

I too visited a refugee camp back in the days and I agree to what you are saying and hats off to you, you could not put this in any better words.

Again if they are so poor how come they never have any problems getting rockets and bombs but have problems getting the basics? Wouldn't you think Iran would at least help them getting the basics for life instead of providing things that they can't eat or drink but only things that kill? Pretty violent religion that they practice isn't it. But when they kept pocking sticks at Israel and they finally say enough is enough. Then when Israel does react isn't it funny that they parade the dead children at the very front of the crowd for the news cameras....good way of playing victims and using their own children as pawns in this deadly game they are playing. They could have stopped this many bodies and days ago but to this day their leadership(in hiding and comfort) says NO. Well they are making the calls and like they said victory is just at hand. It's like trying to beat somebody up using your face against their hands....it doesn't work. But I guess dying and getting your 72 virgins is a better way of life. But I guess Allah hasn't told them that the reason they are all virgins is because they all weigh 300-400+ pounds. Their going to be very disappointed when they see Allah only to see these ugly very heavy women.  BTW who in their RIGHT mind would want that many women that your responsiblefor at any given time? Again pretty messed up religion. It's the only religion that prays for more weapons or killing instead of the basics needs of your people.
